Hurado was selected as the pitcher MVP of the first team of ‘THE LIV August MVP with SGC E&C,’ Lee Ju-hyung as the batter MVP, and Ahn Woo-jin as the honorable mention player.
Hurado, who was selected as the Pitcher MVP, started four games in August and posted a 25-2 record with a 2.88 ERA. Lee Ju-hyung was named the Hitter MVP, batting .330 with 103 hits, 34 RBIs, four home runs, and four doubles in 26 games. Ahn Woo-jin, the honorable mention, went 2-1 with a 2.73 ERA in 29⅔ innings over five games.
After being named Pitcher MVP and Hitter MVP, Lee Ju-hyung will receive 1.5 million won each, while Ahn Woo-jin will receive 1 million won.
Yang Ji-yul was named Pitcher MVP of the Future Team and Park Joo-hong was named Hitter MVP. Yang went 3-1 with a save and a 3.86 ERA in 11⅔ innings pitched in nine Futures League games in August. In 15 Futures League games, Park went 17-for-53 with two doubles, two home runs and a .321 batting average.
As the Pitcher MVP and Hitter MVP of the Futures League, Yang and Park will each receive $500,000.
