The Hanwha Eagles have hired former SSG Landers coach Chung Kyung-bae.
According to the club on July 27, Chung joined the organization in 2020 as the hitting coach of the Hanwha Eagles Futures, where he coached young players who are currently playing, so he has a good understanding of the team.
The club expects Chung to be involved in the hitting department as he takes over as head coach next season, focusing on improving the skills of the fielders.안전놀이터
“I am returning to the Hanwha Eagles with a heavy responsibility to deliver results in harmony with Coach Choi Won-ho,” said Chung. “I know that I need to be involved in the hitting department and try to help the team improve.”
“I will be focusing on mental management for the players who have improved, and training the younger players to improve their skills so that they can maximize their abilities,” he said.
“Most importantly, the head coach is the liaison between the manager, coaching staff, and players, so I will do my best to be a good intermediary so that they can communicate comfortably.”
