Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a move for Jove Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid standout Jude Bellingham.

‘Football Insider’ reported on June 18 (KST), “Tottenham are eyeing Sunderland sensation Jobe Bellingham. Tottenham have been interested in him for a year. Jobe Bellingham has started all 16 of Sunderland’s English Championship (second tier) games this season in a Sunderland shirt,” the publication reported.

“Tottenham have been sending scouts to watch him on a regular basis,” the outlet continued. Jobe Bellingham left Birmingham City for Sunderland this summer. The transfer fee at the time was £3 million.”

Born in 2005, Jobe Bellingham came through the Birmingham City youth academy and made his first-team debut last year. Last season, he played 22 Championship games in a Birmingham City jersey. He has proven his skills at a young age. He mainly played as an attacking midfielder, but he also played up front, on the flanks, and in the third line.

He moved to Sunderland ahead of this season. So far, he has established himself as a regular starter, starting all 16 of Sunderland’s league games. He’s scored three goals and provided one assist, and his talent hasn’t gone unnoticed. 보스토토

One of the reasons Jobe Bellingham has gotten so much attention is because of his older brother, Jude Bellingham. Jude Bellingham is one of England’s greatest ever talents. He too came out of Birmingham City’s youth academy and made his first-team debut at the tender age of 16 years and 38 days. He was a key part of Birmingham City’s defense in the 2019-20 season, making 41 Championship appearances.

He moved to Dortmund in the summer of 2020 and continued to perform well, before joining Real Madrid this summer. He is currently injured, but until then, he was a huge presence. Jobe Bellingham, who is two years younger than his brother, has also been the subject of interest from Tottenham as he continues to improve.
