Kim Seok-hwan (KIA), who has been dubbed the “next Lee Seung-yeop,” has gotten his act together in a week.

Kim went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored, including his 18th arch of the season, in a Futures League game against Sangmu at Mungyeong Stadium on September 9. Kim, who batted in the No. 4 spot, led off the second inning with an infield single.

He got into trouble in his second at-bat of the fourth inning. With a 3B-0S advantage against Kim Tae-kyung, the Commerce starter, he took a four-pitch pitch and blasted it over the right field fence. It was his first hit in seven days since Gyeongsan Samsung on Feb. 2.

Kim continued his hot hitting in the sixth inning, hitting a two-run double with runners on first and second. In his fourth at-bat of the eighth inning, he flied out to left field.

Meanwhile, KIA defeated Sangsung 7-6 in extra innings. KIA starter Hong Won-bin gave up one run on four hits with three walks and four strikeouts in four innings. Yoo You-sung, Kim Chan-min, and Song Hoo-seop took the mound next.먹튀검증
